NFL Sunday Night Football betting: Can Vikings cool red-hot Cowboys offense?

Here are some edges and angles to factor into your wagers

NFL Monday Night Football betting: Seahawks look to sink undefeated 49ers | News Article by SportsBettingOnline.ag

An NFC West showdown headlines Week 10 of the NFL season, when the Seattle Seahawks come to the Bay Area to play the San Francisco 49ers Monday night. Oddsmakers have the undefeated 49ers as 6.5-point home favorite.

If you’re betting on the NFL odds for Monday Night Football, here are some nfl betting lines to factor into your wagers.

Wilson watch
Seattle quarterback Russell Wilson is the frontrunner for NFL MVP after playing incredible football through the first half of the season. Wilson has thrown for 22 touchdowns and only one interception, boasting a completion percentage of 68.3% and a passer rating of 118.2 entering Monday night.

Wilson also does plenty of damage with his legs, adding 203 total rushing yards and three touchdowns on the ground to his impressive stat line. San Francisco has done a fantastic job limiting opposing passers – holding them to an NFC-low 65.7 passer rating – but has yet to face a true duel-threat like Wilson.

Perhaps the closest foe to Wilson was Arizona Cardinals rookie quarterback Kyler Murray, who threw for 241 yards with two touchdowns and rushed for an additional 35 in last week’s 28-25 loss to the 49ers. Wilson is coming off a huge performance versus Tampa Bay, passing for 378 and five touchdowns.

Nicked-up Niners
San Francisco enters Week 10 on an extended break, having played on Thursday Night Football the week before. That gives the team extra time to heal up on multiple player injuries as well as adjust to those who will miss this primetime contest.

The defense is down top linebacker Kwon Alexander, who is out for the season with a pectoral injury. Alexander had 22 tackles on the season and would have been key against a run-heavy Seahawks offense, which hands off on more than 46% of its snaps.

A big part of the 49ers offense could also be missing. Pro Bowl tight end George Kittle is in doubt for Monday, nursing a knee injury that has him listed as day-to-day. Kittle is quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo’s favorite target and has 541 yards on 46 catches with two touchdowns.

Finally, kicker Robbie Gould is doubtful with a quadriceps injury. With the game expected to be a tight one, missing a top kicker could have a huge impact on the outcome. Gould, who is 13 for 20 on field goals and 26 for 26 on extra points, is expected to be replaced by undrafted rookie Chase McLaughlin for Monday night.

Total time
The Over/Under betting total for Monday’s game is set at 47 points after climbing from as low as 45.5. San Francisco, with its run-heavy playbook and stingy defense, is 3-5 Over/Under on the season including a 1-2 O/U record at home.

Seattle enters Week 10 with a 5-4 Over/Under count on the season, going 3-1 O/U in the role of road team. The Seahawks and 49ers have played Over the number in five of their last seven head-to-head matchups.
